The Polling Shows That We Can Win This Race!

If I told you that over a million dollars have been poured into the U.S. Senate race in South Dakota, how would you react? There is more money being spent on this race than has been spent in this state in decades. When I see that, I’d tell you it’s because the people in power are scared.

Money from both my opponent and Big Money groups is flooding into South Dakota because they see the same number I’m seeing. Four polls in the past month all show the race is neck-and-neck. I’m either tied or just behind.

In every single poll, my opponent never gets over 40% approval.

In every single poll, I cross 50% once people hear more about me.

This isn’t your average “push poll” that slants the question to get the answers we want. The language is from Mike Rounds’ website, using his own words, listing his own accomplishments as he sees them. Even after hearing that, South Dakotan voters still like me more.

I’ve been touring the state for months now, meeting new voters every day to hear the issues they care about. Almost every day, I get a question: “Can you win?” The answer is “YES.” It won’t be easy, but it is absolutely possible.

My opponent knows it’s possible, otherwise he wouldn’t be pulling out all the stops to call me names, label me something I’m not, and trick voters to turn them against me. We’re fighting back, and with your support, we will see victory in November
