There’s Four Weeks Left

“Keep an eye on South Dakota.” I’ve been saying it for months, and I’ve truly believed it ever since this campaign launched last April.

This has been a long and thrilling ride. Today marks just four weeks until Election Day. As an Independent, I prefer to focus on discussing issues and having conversations with voters about what they want done about them.

My Independent campaign is about delivering change for South Dakotans, but it also goes beyond that. It’s about the whole nation, what the U.S. Senate will look like in January. It’s about all the issues shared by South Dakotans and Americans in general, and what my position as a U.S. Senator would mean in and of itself

Princeton Professor Dr. Sam Wang describes South Dakota as a strategic opportunity for donors looking to maximize the impact of their dollars. In fact, he describes South Dakota as a state with “the highest per-dollar leverage,” meaning each dollar raised has a much higher impact than in other states with larger populations and/or more heavily funded races. The polling is very close. Several race-raters have already shifted South Dakota away from “Strong R,” and I’m expecting even more shifts in my direction as we get closer and closer to the Big Day. As a bonus, your donation stretches much farther here than in other states.

Running one statewide ad one time in South Dakota costs about $80. Compare that to ~$3,500 in Texas, $2,800 in Florida, or ~$1,800 in Ohio, and you can see how supporting my campaign here also leaves you with greater capacity to strategically chip into any other races you may be prioritizing.

Don’t sleep on South Dakota. Today, I’m asking for you to make a strategic decision by chipping into my campaign, where each and every one of your dollars holds a greater impact. It’s literally more bang for your buck.
