The Last Deadline is Tonight!

This is it. The final fundraising deadline before the election.

We’ve come such a long way. When I started this campaign, my wife and I were living in a cramped camper as progress on our home’s construction slowed to a halt. We had no idea whether the moment was right for an Independent, or what this race would look like over the months that followed.

Over the last 16 months, we’ve seen exponential growth as regular folks come together to join me in this movement. Now, I’m asking you to help us maintain that trajectory so that South Dakotans wake up to good news on November 4th.

We’re zigzagging the state to meet with voters, and we have unprecedented momentum. This campaign has raised more than any non-Republican candidate since 2004. Each and every poll we’re seeing shows the race getting closer and closer.

We’re making my opponent, a career politician with over 30 years in South Dakota politics, actually campaign for one of the first times in his whole career.

If (and when!) we’re successful, it will also be the last.

I’ve got ads running across the state. I’m seeing the impacts on the ground every day, as there hasn’t been a campaign stop in the past month where I’m not recognized by voters. Regular people overwhelmingly like my message.

The problem is that my opponent and his Big Money pals are outspending me 3-to-1. They’re lying about my background and throwing up culture war issues to distract from the real issues South Dakotans are facing, like $4 gas, $6 diesel, and sky-high mortgage rates and grocery bills.

What they’re doing makes sense. Big Money is used to throwing money at politics to buy their way in, and they’re throwing money at South Dakota to try and stop the needle from moving. It will not work, because we’re fighting back.

We don’t need to match what they’re spending. We just need to keep up enough to ensure my common-sense message isn’t drowned out. The more we can close the gap, the more we can build my lead in the polls and at the ballot box in November.
