Happy Birthday South Dakota!

Happy Birthday South Dakota!

For 137 years, this state has been a beacon of opportunity. The West, where folks could homestead, make a living, start a family, and do everything that comes to mind when you say “The American Dream.”

The American Dream isn’t dead yet. It needs a lot of help, but that’s why I’m running to restore the promise of the American Dream for ALL South Dakotans.

Over the course of this campaign, I’ve traveled tens of thousands of miles to visit all 66 counties and 9 reservations. I’ve seen so much of South Dakota, from every angle and at every time of day. Even so, there is still so much more to see, so many more people left to meet.

I truly love this state. My wife and I picked it as the home for our daughters to finish high school. We picked it again when they graduated, moving to a place where the winters are tamer. This is a great state, full of great people, but we get career politicians who turn their back on us the second they get to Washington D.C.

I’m running to be a different kind of Senator. I will fight to make government work for regular folks. I’ll do what should’ve been done years ago, and get Big Money out of politics. I want to have the best constituent services in the country, because I see the job of U.S. Senator as fundamentally connected to service.

Tomorrow is Election Day. We’re mounting our final push criss-crossing the state to reach voters and get out the vote. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect. Every day passed, every mile driven, every voter reached, it re-affirmed how much I care for South Dakota.

Help us sprint across the finish line!

Happy Birthday South Dakota. I hope this next year is one of the best, and I’d be honored to be your next U.S. Senator as an Independent. I promise to deliver change and prosperity, bringing back the American Dream.

Thank you for reading.

Brian L. Bengs, Lt Col (Ret)

This is the final day before the Election. We need your help to make sure we sprint across the finish line tomorrow. This race is winnable. If you can chip in $35 today, it’ll make sure we can reach as many folks as possible for our final push.

Help us win this thing!
